Worked on stabilizing the tool resolution path in the emcie-co/parlant repository, focusing on backend reliability and context management. Addressed a critical bug by restoring context variable propagation in the Resolve Tool endpoint, ensuring that dependent choice providers could reliably access runtime server context. Applied a consistent context restoration pattern, previously used in call_tool, to maintain uniform request handling across endpoints. Leveraged Python and API development skills to adapt to changes in Uvicorn’s contextvar propagation, reducing the risk of provider failures. The targeted fix improved system resilience, maintainability, and traceability, supporting both user interactions and automation workflows in backend environments.
