Worked on mobile user experience optimization for CitizenLabDotCo/citizenlab by addressing a layout issue affecting project pages. Focused on resolving duplicate padding within the project-description wrapper, the solution aligned mobile content with the design system and WYSIWYG path, resulting in more consistent layouts across devices. Used React for front end development and applied JavaScript and TypeScript to implement and validate the fix. The update improved mobile usability, reduced visual clutter, and minimized layout churn, supporting ongoing mobile-first enhancements. Delivered the change with clear documentation and collaborative commit practices, ensuring maintainability and setting a foundation for future interface improvements.
