Focused on stabilizing the handling of MiniMax API keys, the developer identified and removed an overly strict prefix check that was causing valid keys to be rejected, thereby restoring compatibility with various key formats and reducing unnecessary API call failures. This targeted bug fix improved the developer experience by ensuring smoother API integration workflows. The work was implemented using Go and leveraged backend development skills, emphasizing careful validation logic and a pragmatic approach to resolving blockers that impacted the usability of the API.
