Worked on the E3SM-Project/E3SM repository to enhance the clarity and usability of the model’s documentation, focusing on the convective mass flux adjustment (MAdj) within the zm component. Used Markdown and documentation best practices to refine technical explanations, ensuring that descriptions accurately reflect the model’s approach to simulating internal variability across scales. Updated the README to align terminology with the broader Earth System scope, replacing references to “climate” for consistency. These consolidated documentation improvements aimed to improve onboarding and reproducibility for users, with all changes tracked through clear, traceable commits. No bug fixes or code features were implemented during this period.
