Worked on the scratchfoundation/scratch-editor repository to enhance the Tips Library by implementing targeted visibility controls and refining tutorial filtering. Focused on hiding tutorials that require a project, the work distinguished between project-based and video-only tutorials while enforcing platform-specific constraints such as those in Scratch Desktop. The approach involved a thoughtful refactor of the filtering logic, reducing code complexity and improving maintainability. Using React, JSX, and JavaScript, these changes improved content discovery and ensured the Tips Library better aligned with platform capabilities. The updates established a scalable foundation for future tutorial curation and reduced the risk of regressions in filtering behavior.
