Worked on stabilizing the ZoomIt integration within the microsoft/PowerToys repository, focusing on improving the reliability of the system tray microphone indicator after screen recording sessions. Addressed a bug where the microphone icon incorrectly remained active by explicitly closing the virtual microphone input when recording stopped, ensuring accurate status reflection for users. Updated ZoomIt to version 10.1 to maintain compatibility and consistent behavior. Utilized C++, RC, and Windows API skills to manage resource scripting and system programming tasks. This work enhanced user experience by reducing confusion around recording status and contributed to more trustworthy application behavior and streamlined support processes.
