Developed and delivered a CI disk usage monitoring feature for the TourmalineCore/pelican-ui repository, focusing on enhancing test observability and resource management within continuous integration workflows. The solution introduced a dedicated step in the GitHub Actions pipeline to log Playwright browser cache disk usage during automated test runs, leveraging YAML for workflow configuration and CI/CD best practices. By capturing and reporting disk metrics, the work enabled proactive capacity planning and reduced the risk of build failures related to disk space constraints. The implementation demonstrated careful integration with existing processes, providing tangible improvements in monitoring without introducing disruptive changes to the workflow.
