Worked on the anomalyco/opencode repository to modernize the opencode toolchain by migrating the Mise backend from the deprecated ubi backend to the GitHub backend for the sst/opencode project. This involved updating both documentation and code examples to ensure users follow the current, supported method for managing the toolchain. The approach focused on configuration management and clear documentation practices, utilizing HTML, JavaScript, and Markdown to deliver comprehensive guidance. The migration reduced technical debt, improved maintainability, and aligned the project with long-term reliability goals, while also enhancing onboarding and the overall developer experience for contributors to the opencode ecosystem.
