Worked on the GitGuardian ggshield repository to streamline its feature set by removing Software Composition Analysis (SCA) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scanning capabilities. This involved deleting related commands, configurations, tests, and documentation, which reduced operational overhead and simplified ongoing maintenance. Updated internal documentation and configuration references to ensure clarity for both users and contributors. Consolidated testing and release pipelines to align with the new, more focused functionality, thereby reducing maintenance risk. The work was accomplished using Python, Shell scripting, and YAML, with a strong emphasis on CI/CD practices and code refactoring to support a leaner, more maintainable codebase.
