They implemented a targeted bug fix using Svelte and JavaScript, ensuring the unsaved status indicator—a critical asterisk cue—remains visible even when document names are long or contain multiple words. This UI development work resolved a longstanding ambiguity that could lead to users overlooking unsaved changes, thereby reducing the risk of accidental data loss. The solution enhanced clarity for end users and is expected to decrease support requests related to tab status confusion in the application.
