Worked on the ITA-Dnipro/Forum_UPD repository to enhance backend performance and streamline deployment processes. Focused on optimizing the Dockerfile by reducing image layers, consolidating RUN commands, and leveraging --no-cache for package installations, which improved build speed and efficiency. Introduced and tuned Redis caching within docker-compose.db.yml, enabling persistence, automatic restarts, and performance improvements through configuration adjustments such as setting max clients and LRU policy. Simplified deployment by removing redundant configuration files, reflecting the new Redis setup. Utilized Dockerfile, YAML, and Shell scripting, applying skills in backend development, containerization, and DevOps to deliver faster builds and more maintainable operations.
