Developed a specialized OpenSBI build target for the cheri-alliance-gfe platform within the CTSRD-CHERI/cheribuild repository, focusing on enhancing build automation and platform consistency. Extended the existing BuildAllianceOpenSBI class using Python to configure a platform-specific FW_TEXT_START memory address, enabling targeted builds tailored to embedded systems requirements. This work streamlined deployment and testing cycles by reducing manual configuration and improving reliability across CI environments. The implementation emphasized traceability and documentation, ensuring that changes were clearly linked to feature and platform needs. The contribution demonstrated depth in build systems and embedded systems, addressing platform-specific challenges through precise technical solutions.
