Worked on improving repository hygiene and quality control for the Apicurio/apicurio-registry project, focusing on the go-sdk component. Addressed an issue where Kiota log files were cluttering version control by updating the .gitignore file to exclude .kiota.log files and removing any existing instances from the repository. This change ensured that future log files generated by Kiota would not be tracked, reducing unnecessary noise and maintaining a cleaner codebase. Utilized Go for the project’s primary language and leveraged git and version control best practices to implement these improvements, contributing to a more maintainable and organized development environment.
