Worked on the home-assistant/buildroot repository to enhance packaging stability by updating the LibModSecurity dependency to version 3.0.13. Addressed a packaging bug by removing an obsolete patch related to git usage during configuration, following the integration of an upstream fix. Updated checksums and package metadata to ensure accurate version tracking and reproducible builds across downstream images. Focused on build system management and package management using Shell scripting, the changes reduced potential build failures in continuous integration environments. This work improved the reliability and maintainability of the build process, aligning the packaging with upstream security and stability improvements.
