Worked on the janhq/jan repository to deliver a comprehensive French localization rollout across the application, covering UI translations, error messages, notifications, keyboard shortcuts, and the language switcher. Leveraged TypeScript and JSON to implement and validate internationalization throughout the frontend, ensuring all French locale updates were synchronized in the codebase. Addressed a missing French translation menu item to restore full language parity, directly improving the user experience for French-speaking users. Collaborated with cross-functional teams through co-authored commits, establishing a maintainable localization workflow and reducing gaps in internationalization coverage. The work expanded accessibility and supported a broader user base.
