
Worked on the dynawo/dynawo repository to enhance inverter-based generation (IBG) modeling by implementing a phase-locked loop (PLL) freeze mechanism along with low and over-voltage ride-through (LVRT and OVRT) protections for aggregated IBG models. Leveraged Modelica and simulation modeling skills to migrate and integrate IBG models from a previous project, ensuring consistency with the current PLL implementation. Addressed a PLL freeze bug and completed end-to-end validation, resulting in more stable and realistic power system simulations. This work improved dynamic fidelity and reduced grid-penetration risk in planning and operation for scenarios with high IBG penetration, demonstrating strong electrical engineering expertise.
