
During October 2025, Pranav Hariharan developed the Forward Time of Flight (TOF) digitization feature for the eic/EICrecon repository. He engineered a C++ solution that transforms energy deposition and timing data into ADC and TDC values, incorporating charge sharing, pulse generation, and discretization within the detector simulation pipeline. Leveraging the JANA Framework alongside dd4hep and edm4hep, Pranav integrated the digitization path with EICROC and enabled generation of digitized hit information. This work enhanced data fidelity and timing accuracy, strengthening the simulation-to-reconstruction workflow. The feature was delivered as a focused, end-to-end implementation, demonstrating depth in data digitization and detector simulation.
