Worked on stabilizing and modernizing configuration loading for the semgrep/semgrep repository by delivering a compatibility update to the Config Resolver. Addressed a critical bug by updating the resolver to fetch configurations from the new /c/ path, ensuring ongoing support for the latest Semgrep features and downstream integrations. Enhanced the robustness of the testing suite by aligning tests with the updated URL structure and syncing them with upstream and proprietary changes. Utilized Python for backend development, focusing on API integration and comprehensive testing. This work reduced fragility in configuration retrieval and laid groundwork for smoother onboarding of future feature enhancements.
