Worked on the flyingcircusio/fc-nixos repository to deliver two targeted infrastructure improvements using Nix and DevOps practices. Implemented security hardening by rotating an expired SSH key for a system user, ensuring compliance and maintainability through code-driven configuration and detailed changelog documentation. Additionally, standardized Haproxy local configuration file extensions from .conf to .cfg, updating documentation and changelogs to reduce operational errors and align with deployment conventions. Focused on configuration management and system administration, the work emphasized traceability and operational consistency. No bugs were fixed during this period, reflecting a focus on proactive feature development and infrastructure reliability enhancements.
