Worked on the SpareBank1/designsystem repository over a two-month period, focusing on maintenance and accessibility improvements rather than new feature development. Addressed stability by upgrading the react-custom-scrollbars dependency in the ffe-account-selector-react component, ensuring ongoing compatibility and reducing future maintenance risks without altering application code. Improved accessibility and visual consistency by refining button focus states, updating LESS class names to align with design tokens and theme guidelines. Utilized JavaScript, React, and CSS to resolve two bugs, demonstrating careful attention to design system health and user experience. Maintained clear version control practices and contributed to the long-term maintainability of the codebase.
