Worked on the th-ch/youtube-music repository to deliver full Korean localization and UI language support, focusing on expanding accessibility for Korean-speaking users. Leveraged front end development skills and i18n best practices to translate 463 UI strings, achieving complete coverage through a streamlined workflow using Weblate. The approach centralized translation management in JSON format, ensuring future updates remain efficient and traceable. This work established an end-to-end localization process, validated accessibility improvements, and documented all changes for auditability. By integrating localization directly into the development workflow, the project enhanced user onboarding and broadened the application’s market reach without introducing new bugs.
