During August 2025, FS enhanced the SUSE/doc-sle repository by implementing comprehensive revision date tracking across all SLES/SLED 15 SP7 documentation chapters. Leveraging XML and technical writing skills, FS centralized the addition of revision dates, standardizing metadata to improve version control and historical context. This approach aligned documentation updates with the SP7 release cadence, enabling precise diffs and facilitating change tracking for quality assurance and support teams. The work laid a foundation for future audits and localization by ensuring consistent documentation structure. Although the project scope was focused, FS delivered a robust feature that supports ongoing maintainability and process transparency.
