Worked on adapting the SWELL framework within the GEOS-ESM/swell repository to enable integration with R2D2 v3, focusing on enhancing data handling, storage, and credential management. Delivered a cohesive patch that introduced new task update capabilities and improved the reliability and scalability of data workflows. The technical approach centered on Python scripting and API integration, leveraging patch-based delivery and commit-driven change management to ensure secure credential handling and streamlined coordination of tasks. This work addressed the need for more robust data management patterns, resulting in faster and more scalable workflows without introducing major bug fixes during the development period.
