Worked on the payara/Payara repository to modernize the metrics report notification workflow, focusing on improving CI/CD reliability and maintainability. Updated the GitHub Actions pipeline to integrate with the latest MS Teams action, ensuring more timely and consistent delivery of metrics alerts to stakeholders. Refactored the notification message format for greater clarity and consolidated configuration files to streamline future maintenance and onboarding. The work involved multiple YAML-based commits that clarified descriptions and aligned formatting with the new notification system. This effort enhanced the overall notification process, reduced manual intervention, and demonstrated skills in CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and configuration management.
