The approach involved clarifying existing support rather than introducing new code, emphasizing the importance of clear onboarding and discoverability for JavaScript ecosystem lockfiles. Utilized Markdown for documentation and applied version control best practices to manage changes. The work improved the clarity of supported features and reinforced messaging around OSV-Scanner’s compatibility across multiple package management systems.
