Focused on updating the package.json to version v1.9.x, ensuring compatibility between DefinitelyTyped and the main library for seamless integration of new features. Utilized JavaScript and TypeScript to manage versioning and maintain ecosystem consistency, with changes merged through PR #72359. This groundwork did not introduce user-facing code changes but established the necessary infrastructure for future connect-timeout improvements, supporting release readiness and maintaining compatibility across the repository’s dependencies and related tooling.
