Worked on the rdkcentral/entservices-deviceanddisplay repository to enhance device lifecycle observability by building migration status tracking and boot-type reporting features. Developed the setMigrationStatus API in C++ to manage device migration state using file I/O, and refactored the getBootTypeInfo function to leverage a more robust file-reading utility, streamlining logic and improving reporting accuracy. Integrated additional logging to capture migration lifecycle events, supporting faster diagnosis and safer migrations. Focused on API development, debugging, and system services, these updates improved the reliability and traceability of device migration and boot-type information, addressing operational needs for deployments without introducing new bug fixes during the period.
