During August 2025, contributed to the glpi-project/glpi repository by developing an enhancement for SNMP Credential Management, focusing on expanding support for SNMPv3 authentication and encryption protocols. This work involved integrating SHA224, SHA256, SHA384, and SHA512 authentication, as well as AES192C and AES256C encryption, across both backend and frontend components. Using PHP and Twig, the developer ensured seamless protocol support and improved security for SNMP communications. The enhancement addressed compliance requirements and reduced operational risk by enabling safer SNMP management. No major bugs were reported or fixed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature development and protocol integration.
