Rafal developed an automation feature for the stackhpc/stackhpc-kayobe-config repository that ensures the Filebeat service restarts automatically whenever manifest.yml is updated. Using Ansible and YAML, Rafal implemented a restart handler integrated with the existing configuration management workflow, allowing configuration changes to take effect immediately without manual intervention. This approach improved the reliability and responsiveness of log shipping within Kayobe-config environments by reducing delays in propagating updates. The work demonstrated practical application of DevOps principles, systemd service management, and configuration-driven automation. Over the month, Rafal focused on delivering this targeted feature, reflecting depth in configuration management and workflow integration.
