Worked on the fleek-network/lightning repository to enhance backend reliability by building robust job submission validation and deduplication features. Leveraging Rust and state management techniques, introduced a new JobInput structure, implemented sender validation, and added balance checks to ensure only valid jobs are processed. Improved job hashing mechanisms prevented duplicate submissions and enforced service ID integrity, while updates to job reassignment logic ensured correct handling during epoch transitions. Addressed a bug by reverting a previous cron job fix, restoring stable cron-driven job execution and state storage. The work focused on backend development, smart contracts, and maintaining lifecycle correctness across system changes.
