Contributed to the UKGovernmentBEIS/inspect_ai repository by enhancing the OpenRouter API to support replaying reasoning content for the DeepSeek v4 model, ensuring that tool-call history and context are preserved across sessions. This work involved targeted API development and integration using Python, with a focus on maintaining reliability and traceability of AI tool usage. Addressed a specific bug in the replay path to prevent context loss during tool calls and updated the project’s CHANGELOG to document new features and formatting improvements. Collaborated closely with other contributors to validate changes, emphasizing thorough testing and disciplined changelog management throughout the development process.
