Worked on the ministryofjustice/cloud-platform-environments repository to deliver and maintain cloud infrastructure for the LAA Civil Decide and Permissions APIs. Focused on provisioning Kubernetes namespaces, managing AWS resources, and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, HCL, and YAML. Enhanced deployment environments by standardizing secret management, integrating ElastiCache, and aligning staging and production configurations. Improved security and governance through network policy updates and consistent team naming. Addressed operational risk by automating environment teardown and resource cleanup, while maintaining deployment reliability with merge conflict resolution and ownership transitions. Demonstrated a methodical approach to infrastructure as code and cloud platform management across multiple environments.

February 2026 – Cloud Platform Environments: Focused on securing and simplifying LAA-related deployments through cross-environment updates, namespace hygiene, and governance improvements. Key work included Secrets Manager version updates (AD-1244) across LAA Decide for UAT, Staging, and Prod; initial UAT onboarding and namespace changes for LAA Permissions API (AD-1207/AD-1209); repo rename and service account module with production cleanup (AD-1210); and comprehensive environment provisioning/cleanup for LAA DS Permissions API (staging/UAT/Prod), including prod repo deletion and ECR protection adjustments. Ownership transferred to the Civil Decide team and a merge conflict fix was completed to maintain CI/CD stability. These efforts strengthen security, reduce operational risk, and enable safer, faster deployments.
