Developed and delivered a security metrics feature for the tweag/nix-security-tracker repository, enhancing the visibility of vulnerability risk within GitHub issues. The work involved integrating APIs and backend logic using Python to render CVSS base scores and severity directly in the issue user interface. Upon issue creation, the base score was automatically included in the issue body, enabling immediate risk awareness and supporting more effective prioritization and remediation planning. The implementation was completed as a cohesive commit with collaborative input, demonstrating attention to code quality and cross-team coordination. Testing ensured reliable functionality, strengthening risk communication and decision-making during triage.
