Worked on localization enhancements for the vim/vim and macvim-dev/macvim repositories, focusing on Armenian language support. Updated translation files to comply with ISO-639 standards by renaming am.po to hy.po and modified the Makefile to include the new translation, ensuring consistent Unix line endings for reliable cross-platform builds. Applied translation updates to improve the accessibility and usability of the Vim UI for Armenian-speaking users, addressing specific issues and maintaining project conventions. Utilized Makefile and PO file formats, with a focus on build system alignment, internationalization, and translation quality. The work improved maintainability and prepared the codebase for future localization efforts.
