Worked on enhancing the spring-ai repository by developing integration tests focused on Qdrant vector store metadata handling. Using Java and back end development skills, implemented tests to verify that metadata types are preserved correctly during search and filtering operations, including scenarios involving numeric filtering. Improved test isolation by ensuring each test used unique content, preventing interference and increasing reliability. These efforts addressed production needs such as source tracking, version management, and compliance within metadata-driven search pipelines. The work contributed to more robust data governance and traceability, supporting reliable customer deployments and validating metadata filtering and versioning in real-world use cases.
