During February 2025, Kwalmand focused on backend development for the CHOMPStation2/CHOMPStation2 repository, addressing a reliability issue in the Food Replicator feature. By identifying and correcting a mathematical error in the volume calculation, Kwalmand simplified the total variable assignment and standardized the efficiency calculation by setting the divisor to a fixed value of three. This adjustment improved the predictability and operational efficiency of the food replication process, reducing the risk of incorrect output volumes and associated waste. The work, implemented in DM and leveraging game development skills, demonstrated targeted problem-solving within a narrow scope, emphasizing code clarity and maintainability.
