During February 2025, work focused on backend development for the CHOMPStation2/CHOMPStation2 repository, specifically addressing a reliability issue in the Food Replicator feature. The developer identified and resolved a mathematical error in the volume calculation by simplifying the assignment of the total variable, which improved calculation correctness. Additionally, the efficiency calculation was standardized by setting the divisor to a fixed value, enhancing operational predictability and potentially increasing throughput. This contribution, implemented using DM and leveraging skills in both backend and game development, reduced the risk of incorrect food volumes and waste, resulting in a more reliable and maintainable system.
