During January 2025, Ganza overhauled the Iriska mob AI hunger management system in the CeladonSS13/Shiptest repository, focusing on improving AI-driven behavior and code maintainability. By refactoring the AI logic and simplifying the nutrition system, Ganza introduced a new handle_nutrition method for more responsive hunger management and replaced the seek_food function with bite_targeted_food to enable targeted eating actions. This work, implemented in DM and leveraging object-oriented programming and AI programming skills, resulted in more dynamic and realistic Iriska behavior. The changes enhanced gameplay realism and produced a cleaner, more maintainable codebase, though no major bugs were addressed this month.
