Developed enhanced authentication capabilities for the anthropics/claude-code-action repository by introducing token-based authentication for AWS Bedrock. Focused on backend development using TypeScript, the work added support for AWS_BEARER_TOKEN_BEDROCK, allowing users to authenticate with bearer tokens in addition to traditional access keys. Validation logic was updated to enforce new authentication requirements, improving both error handling and user guidance. This approach aimed to strengthen security and streamline the authentication process for customers integrating with AWS services. The changes consolidated authentication flows, reduced friction for end users, and laid groundwork for easier maintenance and future enhancements within the AWS integration layer.
