During December 2024, Greg Pelly focused on improving documentation quality for the vectordotdev/vector repository. He addressed a documentation bug by fixing broken internal links related to the route and exclusive_route transforms, enhancing navigability and accuracy for users referencing these features. Using his skills in technical writing and documentation, Greg ensured that the documentation remained aligned with the current codebase, reducing potential confusion and support requests. The update was delivered as a concise, traceable commit in CUE, minimizing maintenance overhead. This work contributed to a more maintainable and user-friendly documentation experience, though it did not involve new feature development.
