During July 2025, contributed to the elie222/inbox-zero repository by developing a security-focused feature that introduced explicit authentication host controls. Leveraging TypeScript and NextAuth.js, implemented the AUTH_TRUST_HOST environment variable, updating both the example environment file and TypeScript-based environment validation to enforce trusted-host restrictions. This approach reduced the risk of misconfiguration and strengthened deployment security by ensuring only specified hosts are permitted for authentication. The work demonstrated careful attention to environment configuration and onboarding consistency, streamlining secure deployments. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on enhancing security posture through robust configuration management using JavaScript and TypeScript.
