During April 2026, contributed to the sst/opentui repository by delivering two features focused on accessibility and developer experience. Developed accessible focus state propagation for renderable components using TypeScript, enabling parent components to respond to focus changes by introducing a property to track focused descendants and updating focus and blur lifecycles. This improved both accessibility and user experience across the component tree. Additionally, enhanced the testing environment setup by updating documentation in Markdown to require building native dependencies before running tests, which improved test reliability and reduced environment-related issues. Work demonstrated strengths in UI/UX design, front end development, and testing.
