Worked on the SubheshVedam/vedam_website repository to enhance both security and performance, focusing on video delivery across devices. The engineering effort centered on implementing robust security headers and optimizing media handling, directly addressing performance scoring gaps identified by Lighthouse. Using Next.js and React for front end development, the work involved refining CSS and JavaScript to ensure efficient video playback and improved user experience. These changes consolidated the website’s security posture while streamlining performance, laying the groundwork for faster load times and easier future maintenance. No bugs were fixed during this period, with all efforts directed toward feature development and optimization.
