Worked on the OKN-CollabNext/CollabNext_public repository, delivering two backend enhancements focused on data access and configuration management. Developed a new query endpoint for data retrieval with filtering, enabling more flexible and efficient access to backend data. Refactored the backend to centralize the SPARQL endpoint URL using a global configuration variable, which improved consistency and reduced environment-specific configuration drift. The work emphasized maintainability and scalability, laying a foundation for future data access improvements. Utilized Python for backend development, applying skills in API design, RESTful endpoint implementation, and refactoring to enhance both performance and reliability across deployment environments.
