Worked on the th-ch/youtube-music repository to deliver a complete Catalan localization of the user interface, achieving full translation coverage and reducing localization debt. Focused on front end development and internationalization, the work included implementing a UI clock in the navigation bar to enhance time awareness and navigational context for users. Added character-conversion options to improve accessibility, particularly for Catalan-speaking users interacting with Chinese content. Utilized JSON for managing translation strings and leveraged Weblate to streamline the end-to-end localization workflow, ensuring consistency across UI elements. The updates supported both user experience improvements and broader market accessibility for the application.
