March 2026 focused on strengthening Gateway API lifecycle validation and CI reliability across OpenShift repos. Key work delivered includes automated Gateway API migration upgrade test automation in openshift/origin to validate migration from OLM-based Istio to CIO Sail Library during 4.21–4.22 upgrades. Also delivered always-run automated E2E tests for the GatewayAPIWithoutOLM feature gate in openshift/release to improve CI reliability. These efforts reduce manual testing, improve upgrade safety, and accelerate feedback loops for platform teams. Major bugs fixed: none reported in this period; focus was on feature delivery and test infrastructure improvements.
