During November 2024, Gene Cyber delivered four features across the shubhamsaboo/eliza and elevenlabs/elevenlabs-examples repositories, focusing on UI and configuration improvements. He overhauled the Eliza Admin Panel, building a static HTML interface with JavaScript and CSS for managing bots, rooms, and commands, while removing legacy code. He introduced character-specific secrets management using environment variables and YAML, enhancing security and maintainability. Gene also standardized dependency management by updating repository configuration to ignore pnpm-lock.yaml, reducing merge conflicts. In elevenlabs-examples, he aligned client library versions across examples, ensuring consistency. The work demonstrated depth in configuration, frontend, and secrets management.
