During May 2025, Gabriel Fuentes developed and released features to improve alert configurability and noise management for the New Relic Go client and Terraform provider. He added a disableHealthStatusReporting option to NRQL alert conditions in the newrelic/newrelic-client-go repository, enabling operators to configure silent alerts that do not affect system health status. This functionality was also implemented in the newrelic/terraform-provider-newrelic resource, with updates to the provider schema, integration tests, and documentation. Gabriel’s work leveraged Go, Terraform, and API integration skills, delivering well-tested, cross-repository enhancements that reduce false positives and support more flexible cloud monitoring configurations for users.
