Developed Raspberry Pi PIO Assembly language support for the zed-industries/extensions repository, enabling syntax-aware editing and validation directly within the editor. This work involved registering a new submodule for the PIO Assembly grammar, updating the extensions registry, and aligning git configuration to ensure seamless integration and discoverability. Leveraging configuration management and toml, the implementation connected the editor with an external PIO Assembly grammar extension and included reference samples to streamline developer onboarding. By expanding hardware-oriented language coverage, the contribution addressed the needs of Raspberry Pi developers seeking in-editor support for PIO Assembly, enhancing both usability and reliability for embedded workflows.
