Ghofrane Zirouh developed and integrated GM77 barcode scanning functionality into the Protofy-xyz/Protofy repository, focusing on real-time data capture and streaming for inventory and asset tracking. She designed a dedicated GM77 sensor class and React component, enabling configuration of external hardware and seamless MQTT publishing of scanned barcode data to downstream systems. Her work included building a new UI visual node for live data visualization, enhancing user interaction and monitoring capabilities. Using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js, Ghofrane established a robust foundation for future sensor integrations, delivering a well-structured feature with minor stability improvements and thorough documentation updates during the month.
