Worked on the NVIDIA/aistore repository to deliver a PyTorch Plugin Progress Visualization feature aimed at enhancing user experience and observability for long-running plugin tasks. The solution involved integrating the alive_progress library and updating the pyproject.toml file, ensuring reliable dependency management and improved packaging reproducibility. By leveraging TOML for configuration and focusing on explicit dependency declaration, the work enabled live progress bars during PyTorch plugin operations, making task monitoring more intuitive. The approach emphasized stability and maintainability, with careful attention to dependency management practices. No bug fixes were recorded during this period, and the primary focus remained on feature delivery.
